Early Childhood Education

amcab provides several preschool programs in Alger and Marquette counties in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The programs include: Head Start, Early Head Start, and Childcare Partnership all funded through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We also provide the Michigan School Readiness Program that is funded by the Michigan Department of Education. amcab has several classrooms located throughout both counties.

Marquette County:

• Ishpeming: Bethany Lutheran Church and the Greenwood Head Start Center
• Marquette: Messiah Lutheran Church, Jacobetti Skills Center and Sandy Knoll Elementary School
• Harvey: Cherry Creek Elementary School
• Gwinn: Gwinn Area Head Start Center located on K I Sawyer

Alger County:

• Munising Head Start Center
• Traunik Head Start Center
